Kelly Hunter Foster is an environmental attorney and advocate with more than 20 years of regulatory and litigation experience with all of the major federal and many state environmental laws, including administrative, civil and criminal cases in both state and federal courts. She joined Waterkeeper Alliance as Senior Attorney in December 2010 and currently manages Waterkeeper Alliance’s Clean Water Defense and National Pure Farms, Pure Waters campaigns.
Prior to joining Waterkeeper Alliance, Kelly spent fourteen years working to protect Oklahoma’s air, land and water as an Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Protection Unit of the Attorney General’s Office. In 2001, she began serving as the Environmental Protection Unit Chief and was responsible for providing representation to seven environmental agencies and two Cabinet Secretaries, as well as managing administrative, civil and criminal enforcement of environmental laws on behalf of the state.
