Ed Hubennette

Ed Hubennette is Area Vice President, United Kingdom and Ireland for Marriott Hotels, responsible for managing the day to day business of sixty hotels. His area represents revenue of $700 million and includes the JW London Grosvenor House Hotel, London Marriott Grosvenor Square and the Shelbourne, a Renaissance Hotel and The St Pancras Renaissance Hotel London. In addition, he provides strategic leadership in all aspects of hotel operations and owner relations.

Ed is a 35 year veteran in the hospitality industry. In his previous role as Area Vice President, Hawaii and Asia Pacific, he managed 31 hotels in Hawaii, Australia, Japan and Korea with sales exceeding $500 million. Prior to joining Marriott, Ed held positions with Minor Hotels & Resorts in Thailand as Chief Operating Officer, Vice President Assistant to the Chairman for Inter-Continental Hotels Corporation in Japan as well as General Manager positions at the Grand Hyatt Waikiki Beach, The Grand Hyatt New York City, The Dusit Thani Hotel Bangkok, Thailand and at the Sheraton Hotel Hong Kong. Ed attended Cornell University and the University of Houston, Texas.
